The award was presented to Mirziyoyev in recognition of his efforts to foster cooperation between the two nations. The president expressed his gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty (People’s Council), Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and the brotherly people of Turkmenistan for the high state honor.

“I accept this award as a symbol of special attention and respect toward Uzbekistan and its multiethnic people, and as recognition of our joint efforts to strengthen friendship, good-neighborliness, mutual trust, and partnership in Central Asia,” said the president.

It was noted that Uzbekistan–Turkmenistan strategic partnership, grounded in rich historical ties, brotherhood, and mutual respect, has reached a high level in recent years.

Major economic and humanitarian projects have been implemented in recent years, and the volume of mutual trade and the scale of cooperation have grown significantly.

President Mirziyoyev also highlighted the important contribution of Arkadag (the honorary title of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov) and other regional leaders in promoting cooperation throughout Central Asia. He emphasized that the international community now recognizes the region’s collective success in building a new model of regional partnership and identity.

In conclusion, the president once again expressed his gratitude for the prestigious award, congratulated the brotherly people of Turkmenistan on the ongoing UN conference, and wished success for the upcoming global summit to be held this December in Ashgabat as part of the International Year of Peace and Trust.
