Foreign Ministry spokesperson Akhror Burkhanov addressed media inquiries regarding the ongoing protests in Los Angeles, stating that no officially confirmed information has been received about the involvement of Uzbek nationals in the recent demonstrations.

Nonetheless, the Ministry emphasized the importance of strict compliance with U.S. laws and strongly advised fellow citizens not to engage in any mass gatherings that may pose risks to public security.

“Uzbekistan’s diplomatic missions continue to protect the rights and interests of our citizens abroad. In case of need, individuals are encouraged to contact the Embassy or Consulate General of Uzbekistan in the United States,” the statement reads.

The appeal comes after unrest broke out on the evening of June 6 in Paramount, a southern suburb of Los Angeles, following immigration enforcement raids. The protests escalated into clashes between demonstrators and law enforcement, resulting in dozens of arrests.
