Shavkat Mirziyoyev honored with France’s highest state award
The President of Uzbekistan received the prestigious order in recognition of his significant contributions to the development of bilateral cooperation, as well as strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of Uzbekistan and France.

A ceremony was held in Paris to present President Shavkat Mirziyoyev with France’s highest national award — the Legion of Honor.
French President Emmanuel Macron personally conferred the prestigious award upon the Uzbek leader in a formal ceremony.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev was honored with this distinction for his outstanding role in advancing bilateral cooperation and fostering friendship and mutual understanding between the two nations.
Expressing his sincere gratitude to the French leader for the award, President Mirziyoyev noted with satisfaction that in recent years, the two countries have achieved remarkable results through productive cooperation, elevating their relations to the level of a strategic partnership.
The Legion of Honor was established in 1802 and is considered France’s highest mark of recognition for exceptional service and distinction.
