Uzbekistan increases minimum wage up to $25

In accordance with the decree of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced on Oct. 13, salaries of employees of budgetary organizations, pensions, stipends and allowances will increase by 10%.
From November 1, 2018 salaries of employees of budgetary organizations, pensions, stipends and allowances will increase by 10%. The corresponding decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev has been announced today.
The following minimum sizes will be effective in Uzbekistan starting from Nov. 1 2018:
- salaries – 202,730 sums per month;
- pensions – 396,500 sums per month;
- allowance fees for the disabled – 396,500 per month;
- allowances for elderly and work incapable citizen without the required work experience – 243,000 sums per month.
It should be noted that the salaries, pensions, stipends and allowances in Uzbekistan were increased by 7% on July 15, 2018.
