Foreign digital companies paid UZS 78.2 billion in taxes to Uzbekistan in H1 2025
In the first half of this year, 72 foreign companies providing electronic services in Uzbekistan paid UZS 78.2 billion in taxes, according to the State Tax Committee.

This represents a 42% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
Ten foreign companies providing electronic services accounted for 94% of the total taxes paid:
– Meta – UZS 22.6 billion
– Apple – UZS 22.1 billion
– Google – UZS 19.4 billion
– OpenAI – UZS 2.9 billion
– Booking.com – UZS 1.9 billion
– TikTok – UZS 1.8 billion
– Netflix – UZS 896.2 million
– ACCA – UZS 797.1 million
– Zoom – UZS 786.7 million
– Adobe – UZS 530.8 million
It is worth noting that Uzbekistan introduced the requirement for foreign companies providing electronic services to individuals in the country to pay VAT in 2020.
According to Article 281 of Uzbekistan’s Tax Code, such companies are required to submit tax reports, documents, and other relevant information no later than the 20th day of the month following the reporting quarter.
