On June 25, the committee’s head, Umid Shadiev, met in London with Bolt’s Global Head of Franchise and Partner Markets, Geert-Jan Kistemaker. The primary focus of the discussions was the potential for Bolt to enter the Uzbek market.
“Both parties expressed interest in implementing a pilot project in one of Uzbekistan’s major cities, with plans for further expansion,” the announcement stated.
The platform offers a wide range of services, including taxi services, food and cargo delivery, and electric scooter rentals. It was noted that its launch in Uzbekistan would create “additional conveniences” for both citizens and foreign tourists.
