All Public Reception staff dismissed; local governors to take direct control
From now on, the heads of regional and district administrations (governors) will directly lead the Public Reception Offices. Governors are expected to begin each working day by listening to the concerns and grievances of local residents.

A video conference chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is currently being held to assess the effectiveness of ongoing reforms, the situation in the regions, and solutions to issues affecting the population.
In light of existing shortcomings in the system, it was announced that all current staff of the Public Reception Offices will be dismissed starting today. The offices will be staffed with dedicated professionals who are capable of resolving real issues.
The new structure mandates that the regional and district governors personally manage these offices. Every day, they will begin their work by addressing public concerns directly on the ground.
“Governors must understand one thing clearly: no issue raised today should be postponed to tomorrow. Problems must be resolved on the spot, without referring people to other agencies,” the president said.
To facilitate this, district governors will be granted broader powers, along with additional resources to address problems effectively.
