Saida Mirziyoyeva and EU’s Special Representative for Central Asia discuss strengthening Uzbekistan–EU ties
On May 14, Presidential Aide Saida Mirziyoyeva held a meeting with the European Union’s Special Representative for Central Asia, Eduards Stiprais.

During the meeting, the parties discussed strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EU, as well as fostering dialogue and collaboration within the Central Asian region.
Key topics included support for women’s entrepreneurship, initiatives in the field of education, water resource management, and interregional connectivity.
“We believe Mr. Stiprais’s extensive professional experience in our region will contribute to enhancing our partnership. We express our gratitude for the open and constructive dialogue,” Saida Mirziyoyeva wrote on her Telegram channel.
It is worth noting that on May 13, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Eduards Stiprais. The two sides exchanged views on pressing issues on the regional agenda and reviewed plans for upcoming events.
