Following the meeting, the parties signed an investment agreement to implement a project for the construction of nine mini-hydropower plants on the Karadarya River in the Andijan region.

In addition, on April 8, Ilzat Kasymov also met with Wang Licheng, Chairman of the Board of the Chinese company Holley Group, to discuss the current progress of the "Great Silk Road" industrial technopark, which is being built on a 227.4-hectare site in Almalyk.

The project for the creation of the "Great Silk Road" industrial technopark was presented to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on October 14 of last year. The technopark will host over 100 projects totaling $1 billion and is expected to create around 3,000 new jobs.
