UK to increase quotas for seasonal workers from Uzbekistan
An agreement has been reached to sign new contracts with UK recruitment companies and increase the quotas for seasonal work allocated to Uzbek citizens. The Migration Agency will offer full support to ensure that foreign companies can recruit seasonal workers from Uzbekistan in a secure, organized, and efficient manner.

Online negotiations were held with the support of the Uzbek embassy in the UK, involving the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and representatives from various UK government agencies and recruitment companies.
The discussions were attended by the heads and representatives of recruitment companies, including those involved in the UK’s "Seasonal Workers Scheme" project, such as the Workers' Supply Association, the Labor Rights Protection Organization, Pro-Force, HOPS Labour Solutions, Fruitful Jobs LTD, and Concordia Charity.
The main topics of conversation included diversifying the UK labor force, improving the safety and efficiency of labor migration, and mechanisms for attracting Uzbek nationals to seasonal jobs in the UK. This included discussions on the transparent processes for candidate identification, selection, and testing.
The UK side emphasized that the Migration Agency would provide all necessary support to ensure that foreign companies could attract seasonal workers from Uzbekistan in a secure, organized, and orderly manner. British companies also confirmed their intention to further develop cooperation with Uzbekistan in this area in the future.
At the conclusion of the talks, an agreement was made to sign new contracts with UK recruitment companies and increase the number of quotas allocated for seasonal work for Uzbek citizens.
