Uzbekistan ranks 119 in global salary rankings
The average wage in the country amounts to $351. In the CIS space, Uzbekistan is ranked 8th.

According to CEOWORLD Magazine data, Uzbekistan holds the 119th position in the global ranking for gross average monthly wages, with an average salary amounting to $351.
The gross wage refers to the total wage before deductions such as taxes and other contributions are made. For ease of comparison, researchers calculated the ranking in US dollars.
In terms of gross wage levels among the CIS countries, Uzbekistan is ranked 8th. The highest figure is recorded in Russia - $2,159, followed by Kazakhstan ($673), Turkmenistan ($654), Belarus ($621), Armenia ($541), Moldova ($508), and Azerbaijan ($494).
Below Uzbekistan are Kyrgyzstan ($228) and Tajikistan ($169) in the ranking.
According to the report, the highest wage in the world is observed in Switzerland - $8,100. Luxembourg ($6,633) and the USA ($6,455) also made it into the top three. The lowest wages are recorded in Lesotho ($24), Angola ($27), and Malawi ($31).
