According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, the medical institution mentioned in this video is the Tashkent Children’s Clinical Hospital No. 1, designed for 425 beds and providing round-the-clock emergency medical care to children under 18 years of age.

It is noted that on average 300-350 patients go to the hospital per day, of which 55-65 are hospitalized for inpatient treatment. The rest are provided with primary medical care and are sent under the supervision of a family doctor at their place of residence.

“Today, people come to this medical facility not only with a fever or sore throat, but also with diagnoses such as allergic rashes, diarrhea, pain in the eyes, ears and stomach, appendicitis, hernia, and so on. Considering that family clinics operate from 08:00 to 20:00, at night patients are mainly referred to the children’s hospital for medical care. As a result, in the evening the number of patients increases slightly,” the report says.

In addition, as the Ministry of Health emphasized, in addition to republican medical institutions, 5 clinics and 5 infectious diseases hospitals operate around the clock in Tashkent, providing medical care to children.

In this regard, reports on social networks about an increase in the number of calls to the children’s hospital with fever and sore throat are unfounded, the Ministry of Health concluded.
