Ruslan Nurudinov wins World Championship for second time
The representative of Uzbekistan Ruslan Nurudinov once again became the world champion at the World Weightlifting Championship, which was held in Bogotá, Colombia.

Ruslan Nurudinov, a member of the national team of Uzbekistan, Olympic champion and world champion, competed in the weight category up to 109 kg this morning (at 05:00 by Tashkent time) and won the absolute world championship. At the same time, the Andijani athlete became the first Uzbek weightlifter to win the World Championship twice.
Ruslan won 3 gold medals in the snatch (177 kg), clean and jerk (220 kg) and 397 kg in total. This is the second world championship in his career. He managed to surpass the nearest pursuer by 8 kilograms.
In this weight category, Georgian weightlifter Giorgi Chkheidze took second place with a total of 389 kg (170+219), and Colombian athlete Rafael Castillo took third place with a total of 388 kg (174+214).
