Residents of Kazan travelled this summer mostly to Russian cities and Central Asian countries, Tatar-Inform reports with reference to OneTwoTrip travel.
“Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkey were among the foreign countries where the largest number of tickets were purchased with departure from Kazan. The TOP-10 also included the Czech Republic, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Azerbaijan. Georgia was also on the list: despite the ban on flights from Russia, in June the flow of tourists to this country was very large,” the press service of the OneTwoTrip travel said.
The most popular cities, where Kazan residents went in the summer, were Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sochi. In the TOP-20, half of the cities are Russian, including Krasnodar and Simferopol. In addition to them, the rating of cities where citizens of Kazan most often bought tickets included Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Dushanbe (Tajikistan), Prague (Czech Republic), Khujand (Tajikistan), Paris (France), Antalya (Turkey), Istanbul (Turkey) and Batumi (Georgia).
The rating of cities, to which most often train tickets were bought, includes only Russian cities. The TOP-3 leaders were Moscow, Yekaterinburg and St. Petersburg.
